Which functions doesn't have the app with low/no OBC?

No display of AVG speed, consumptions and range
No reset of AVG speed and consumptions
Show values in Instrument cluster (f.e. oil temperature, volume, welcome message..)

What do I need to get the app working?

Android head unit or other Android device with touch screen and at least android version 4.4, better 6.0 or higher. Recommended and tested Android headunits from AVIN and XTRONS
Note: there are some radios with PX3/PX30/PX40/MTK/Allwinner/AutoChip/... CPU on which the app does not work or does not work well! We are not liable if your radio is not compatible with the app.

What are the functions of the demo version?

Connect the app to the Resler I-BUS Module
Show engine speed, car speed, mileage and coolant temperature
Show VIN and service informations
Show image for opened doors
Show GPS informations
No coding and comfort functions

How can I unlock the app?

Buy an I-BUS App license
Enter the VIN o your vehicle at purchase
Connect android device with the internet and with the Interface/Module to the car
Click on the three dots in the right upper corner or in navigation menu and then on unlock
Click the unlock button and enjoy the full application :)

What is the VIN?

The VIN is the vehicle identification number
You will find it for example in your car registration
For unlocking process only the last 7 characters of the VIN are required

Why do I have to give my chassis number (VIN)?

The license to use the app is bound to the chassis number of the vehicle
When you purchase a license, you enter your VIN. This is compared with the chassis number of the vehicle during activation in the app.
Privacy is very important to us. Your chassis number and your personal data will neither be passed on to third parties nor sold to companies. You have the possibility to receive information about the data stored by us from you or to order a deletion at any time

Why can't I download the app from the Google Play Store?

Our license model provides that each vehicle requires an app license, which is verified via the VIN. This is not compatible with Google's licensing
You don't need a Google account to use the app
The app requires a special I-BUS Module, which is integrated in the vehicle wiring harness. This results in a higher need for clarification, since immediate downloading and plugging in are not possible
Apps in the Google Play Store must always be billed via Google. The payment processing for our app is done exclusively via our online shop

Are the app functions depending on car equipment or construction year?

To show range, consumptions and AVG speed an high OBC is required
The coding funtions are limited on LCM 2
On vehicles with construction year fewer than 98 the IKE can make some trouble
Also you'll need PDC to show PDC graphics and aux heating to control aux heating etc.

How can I use Coming/Leaving home with I-BUS App?

With new orange Resler Module coming/leaving home, fold/unfold miorror etc. will be included. More infos about new Resler Module

Why the oil temperature isn't working?

not E46, E83, E85: Probably the thermal oil level sensor is defective which means that no indication is possible.
E46, E83, E85: Displaying of oil temperatur is only possible with Deep OBD app or eKombi module

Why does my instrument cluster stop showing indicators with active indicators and stop clicking?

This problem occurs with some instrument clusters (CY ~98). To work around this please do the following:

Disable the "Mileage request" option under "IKE settings" in the App settings.
switch off ignition completely and disconnect vehicle battery.
Reconnect the battery after a short waiting time.
Now start the app and everything should work again.

Why is the fuel level not displayed?

Not all instrument clusters with construction year before 2000 output the fuel level on the I-Bus.

Why doesn't the app switch to the PDC screen automatically even though the switch is active?

On some models the reverse signal is not sent over the I-Bus. Unfortunately, an automatic change is not possible.

In reverse mode I only see an exclamation mark and no PDC screen.

The device switches to the screen of the reverse camera in reverse gear by default. If no reverse camera is installed, only an exclamation mark appears. How to deactivate this screen can be found here.
